Guts Casino Review
Guts is an online casino venue licensed out of both Malta and Curacao. Guts.com is marketed primarily to a British and Canadian audience, but as of the time of this review, currency support included nine world currencies. Country restrictions include America, France, Spain, Turkey, Belgium, Italy, Hong Kong, and the traditional list of forbidden Middle Eastern and African countries.
Guts launched alongside its excellent mobile service – not an app, but a mobile browser-compatible site. OddsMatrix is in some way responsible for operating the mobile client, and that company holds a Class 1 License in Malta. Operated by Guts Gaming, the site has only been in business since June of 2013 but has quickly earned accolades from a number of reputable industry reviewers such as Casinomeister.com.
Those accolades stem from Guts.com offering a product that is heads and shoulders above much of its global Internet casino competition. The site’s library of games is massive with a focus mainly on slots in a number of different categories. Both a sportsbook and casino are currently open, with plans to begin providing live poker gaming at some point this year. The site’s mobile casino is beautiful and functional, especially for players enjoying internet slots and similar games.

I recommend Guts Casino to anyone living outside the United States looking for a mobile-friendly gambling app. The target audience for Guts is players from the UK and Canada, particularly for the mobile versions, which are currently only available in English and French.
Mobile players will rejoice at the library of just over 100 titles, most designed by NetEnt. Personally, NetEnt is among my favorite designers, and they do a good job of porting their content to mobile-friendly displays. There’s an attainable bonus program offered – maybe not as lucrative as other sites promise, but something that Average Joe Gambler can afford to use to earn some free betting cash.
Live customer support is the new blue-ribbon standard for customer service in this industry, and Guts has always offered around-the-clock live access to support staff. This goes for mobile and Web-based customers, of course, and as many as five languages are available on the support line, including English, Spanish, French, and even German and Korean.
Guts.com Casino Games
As mentioned above, the main provider of games at Guts is Net Entertainment Software, known in the business as NetEnt. This is a big plus, because their games are intuitive, easy on the eyes, and a lot of fun to play. They do a particularly good job with slot games, the online versions of which generally offer little replay value.
But there’s even better news; at times, Guts Casino leans on other designers, such as Microgaming, BetSoft, and WagerWorks. The use of multiple designers means customers have access to the best versions of the games provided by the site.
Some of the best NetEnt slot titles are available here, such as the very-popular Blood Suckers (and its 98% theoretical payout percentage) and the Major Millions five-reel video slot. But also listed are Microgaming’s new Game of Thrones slot, which is one of the better slots they’ve ever produced. GoT by Microgaming is also available to mobile customers, along with five dozen other slot games.
Guts Casino Mobile
The mobile library currently holds more than a hundred titles, including mobile versions of popular 3D and video slots (Arabian Knights, The Dark Knight, South Park, and a few other licensed titles) and a long list of traditional table games. For the most part, all the table game classics are designed by Microgaming, and look and perform really nice on my iPhone 6+ and my iPad mini.
Fans of progressive jackpot slots and other games can find a smattering of those on the mobile casino as well. Some account services features are available, though mobile-only customers can use 24-hour live customer support to take care of any account issues that arise, even to perform those functions that the customer can’t quite perform via her mobile device.
I want to get this right out in the open – the mobile site is a little uglier than the Web-based version. It is plain, to put things simply. It looks like a poorly-designed native app by Apple. The thing is, it is also one of the easiest-to-use mobile-capable sites I’ve played on in a while. Sure, the plain black, red, and gray color scheme is ugly, but navigation is intuitive. You can even register for an account, entirely via your smartphone, tablet, or other mobile gadget.
The list of Guts Mobile’s compatible devices include just about every brand of smartphone or tablet you can imagine, including all Apple devices (starting with iPhone 3), Android gadgets for all major Android brands, and a long list of tablets, including many I’d never heard of before. For the complete list, visit the website’s mobile FAQ.
Guts.com Bonuses & Promotions
The “new player” bonus offered by Guts is a match rate of 100% on deposits, capped at $100 on each of the customer’s first three deposits. These “free bet” rewards also come with a bonus, a number of free spins on the site’s popular Starburst video slot, based on the size of your deposit.
Of course, there’s a catch. The rollover requirement is 35x the size of the bonus. That means if I deposit $100 (expecting a $100 reward), I’ve got to place $3,500 worth of bets to claim my bonus. That’s a bit steep, but less so than other sites which require customers rollover the size of the deposit AND the bonus, which would make the actual rollover requirement twice as expensive.
Loyalty programs and regularly-updated special promos targeted at specific games are also available, though much of this information comes through a newsletter available only to active customers. You can opt in or out of these email offers at the time of registration.
For mobile or Web-based players outside a few restricted countries, Guts is one of the most exciting new casino products for its long list of great features. The game experience is excellent, thanks to the use of a variety of casino game designers. The mobile experience, though a bit drab, makes mobile gambling more fun, plain and simple. That’s due to a large mobile game library and the fact that the titles on offer are fast and fun.
As for “cons” – most of the customers for the site are from the UK or Canada, which is by design. You may have some trouble making deposits and withdrawals in your native currency, since only nine are supported. With that few available currencies, and just five languages available for customer support, the accessibility of this mobile and Web-based gambling service is a bit limited.
But I can’t recommend the site enough to slots players around the world looking for a fun variety of top-notch slot and table games. Live poker is coming to the site soon, which should bring in a ton of new traffic and hopefully kick-start a big change in the design of what’s currently a hard-on-the-eyes mobile casino.
Everything else about Guts earns the site a big thumbs-up, including quick reported payout times and low fees for funds transfers.
